A quote from This postmade me smile:
Well, if you’re Microsoft, you make everything a wizard. Everything becomes a task that the computer helps you with. “Would you like to write a letter? I see your letter appears to be a business letter, would you like to see a list of business letter templates…” Windows is becoming like a Boy Scout on speed. In its attempt to make things simpler, Microsoft has crossed the line from helping, to getting in the way. They’re underfoot. All the time.
fish = 0;
I killed my fish. I don’t think I will mess with fish late at night again. I managed to the water+soap+fantastic clear mix of a bottle I was cleaning. I usually use that bottle for tank refill water but I had forgotten I had filled it up with a bunch of cleaners to try and soak out some stuck on stuff on the sides of it. It was all over before I could do anything. Once I realized what I had done my fish were starting to sink. I tried to save them by moving them to my extra tank but they died anyway. I was hoping that at least my guppies would survive no such luck for me. All in all pretty depressing for me, because I barely owned them for 24 hours before I killed them.
I guess I’ll try again sometime soon. Once I get somethings paid off.
I feel smarter already. I can be l33t and have m4d sk1llZ. w00t.
I bought Zend Studio today. I am still working to get LDAP connectivity to work but at least it came with php5 with mysql support compiled in.
Students get a sweet discount on Zend Studio Plus it cost only 99$ discounted from $249 I think it will be worthwhile in all the coding I do. I’ve been dying for some real debugging functionality. I just hope they release the debugging toolbar for Firefox soon, I don’t like debugging in IE.
Another journey needs to be made
Castles are cool. Particularly when they are in New Jersey and pretty accessable.
