Sitting in this class is absolutely mind numbing. Everything I am “learning” I learned in AP CompSci in high school. We reviewed all kinds of stupid junk. I have not coded in C++ in almost a year and I am not even trying to pay attention. Pointers == yawn.

Homework… yawn.. I had to write an essay about my community. I hope it didnt suck too much. Emotion Eric is amusing on a lazy day like today. I didn’t bring enough homework to do now I gotta do even more work later when i get back to school.

When I am too lazy to code something I just plan to code it in a text editor. That is so wierd. I have like 15 diff plans for this one project. They all say the same things in varying degrees of clarity. Once I sit down to program on an insipired time I’ll just code like crazy and write like 80 % of this in like 3-4 hrs.

Snort needs to get some good reporting tools. I hate that attacking a PC with jolt2 created 10k+ alerts in the database. ACID just doesn’t handle that many rows nicely. Aggregation in to one attack would be nice..not that anyone really cares.

I hate comcast.. Every night 8pm my connection starts losing 20%+ packets. It screwed up everything.

Having 15000 rows in a mySQL db on a p166 with 96 megs of ram is a bad idea. Stupid code red filled up my IDS logs(over time of course).. Its taking forever to delete all these entries
