Its been a while world.
Here I am.
The past week as been pretty interesting. From getting poked in the eye with a stick, mountains, and Boston. Starting on my eye, I was poked in eye with the blunt end of a pool cuestick(not fun), my coworkers were messing around in the parking lot and someone got mad and threw the stick and I happened to be in position to recieve the stick in to my face.
On to better things. On Friday I went to the white mountains and saw lots of pretty scenery and stuff. The pictures are in the usual place. In that day we must of driven at least 400 miles. It was a fun day of driving through the mountains and burning gas. While Andrea and I were there we went to the Flume Gorge which was a nice and long walk in the woods. We both took some cool pictures. After that we drove an hour to drive up mount washington only to be greeted with them saying we couldn’t drive up. Andrea’s Saturn does not have a low gear so the trip down would likely burn out the breaks and cause chaos. They gave us a discount coupon to go on the guided tour. So we did that instead, it was nice we were the only people in the tour van up the mountain so we had a nice relaxed tour. Following the drive up and down the mountain we then we out for dinner to some place I do not remember its name. Either way they had cheap lobster dinners so we had that, lobster == fun/happy. This has been the summer of seafood.
A few weekends ago I was able to share the gospel with this middle-aged woman. I’ve been hoping to all summer but its just not been working. People have been uninterested, or busy, or something. Back to the story, she listened pretty intently the whole time but felt uncomfortable praying on the beach. I think it had to do with her husband who came back in the middle of the time I was going through the book.
I go home next tuesday. I am looking forward to my uncomfortable bed at home, ps2, and my desktop computer. I am going to greatly miss all the people here. This is the first place I have had large group of good friends who were not all shallow. It was a good/nice/awesome/sweet fully functioning biblical community. I want to bring home with me.
Better news is that Josh is coming to visit on the 7th and is going to help me move myself out of here. Whoo
