So today I started training for my job as a peer advisor(PA). So far, its been decent. The training is ok, i guess my only real peave with it is that we are kinda just thrown in to the mix of RA’s and expected to absorb whatever from the training for the RA’s. None of the training is particularlly directed at us. They also like to run us on long days. It seems like it is around 10 to 12 hours a day of training everyday all week. Even worse is that it seems that they have killed my saturday because I will need to be on campus and I really need to be home at church because I have stuff I have committed to there but bleh I think I’m gunna not be able to do it because I really…really.. really.. do not want to screw up my chances of gettin this job again next year. I need it to be able to go to school here.
Andrea’s coming here Thursday which is a huge plus but she is going away on a retreat the next morning. I can’t wait till she is here.
