Well… Guess what? I am bored.. Exchange 2000 won’t install(why cant i just use linux…). Well besides the fact that Exchange + AD integrates everything nicely(once it works).On a positive note, Vanilla slim fast doesnt suck as much as strawberries and cream. its still high and the gross factor but its a little better. I wish I had more free time now. I want to do a billion little side projects lately but I dont even have time for myself to just relax once in a while.
Speaking of relaxation, yesterday was nice. I slept till almost 2pm. It was a nice fathers day and my mom, brother, and myself made my Dad a nice dinner( London broil, potatoes, corn, and salad). I made the salad. It came out pretty good, but honestly its kinda hard to mess up salad. Unless you decide to not tear the lettuce up enough and the pieces are like fork length. Then the salad can suck cuz its a pain to eat.
Last week I began to appreciate the whole proprietary Compaq(HP) server software but now that its past it I still have to fight every other piece of software. Someone needs to code a drop in open source replacement system to the whole AD + exchange 2000 messaging system..

Its monday. I should be sleeping.

So bored…. I wanna go home now..

Well.. Guess what people. A single electric circuit cannot handle 8 Compaq DL380′s all running at the same time. It just does not work. This morning I killed two circuit breakers at once some how magically. I dont know. Either way it killed my work for like 40 minutes while other people fixed the electricity. Now the power is all back I just hope I didnt kill anything else that I don’t realize yet. I’ve been installing IE 6 SP1 on machines all morning. Yeah I’m tired of doing it.
Also, I am in a room right now with around 33ish servers and a massive amoiunt of switches/routers/PBX’s and other geeky type equipment. It is extremely hot in here and there is nothing I can do about it…
Oh well I get to fry all day.
I want some rice cakes right now but I dont have any and I dont know of a super market or 7-11 anywhere near by here. Its all expensive upscale food and stores sucks to be poor.

Its always fun playing with lots of servers. Yawn. I’m tired. I need to play some PS2. I dont even know what to say now. So im gunna stop wasting time now and get back to work

Today is a fun day. I’ve spent all day basically writing the best UDP flooder I can using windows xp. I also implemented a system to time things down to less than one millisecond. I think getting the timing element part down took the longest. WIndows time access methods suck alot, they are only accurrate to about 10 milliseconds. I have not coded this much of anything in a long time. On a good note, my chair is pretty good my back is not too tired yet but I cant feel my butt anymore after sitting here all day. Ok back to coding stuff.

Yeah, I have not updated this in a while. It appears that I do have work this summer. Its good because I was gettin tired of being jerked around by my company and now they have finally hired me for the summer so I will make some money. I’m so tired right now though because all i did all day at work was lift stuff so I’m a bit sore too. Its ok though I am gettin a title upgrade.. no more intern crap since I am more useful than one. Right now I am being soothed by the various electronic sounds of my mp3 collection. Everyone on LJ doesnt post as much now that school is over. Its wierd. But I do have less time during the summer than I have during the year.. just because of work and stuff.
On a cruddy note, I have been sickish since I got back from school and even before I left school really. I think i just keep gettin sick from diff. people. I think I might be gettin better. I’ll see in a few days…
