Yeah. Its another week. Its just begun. I discovered that there was a Calvin and Hobbes feed on LJ so I added that on to my friends. I wish the slashdot feed did not suck. I should make one that doesn’t suck. Its just really lame with having just the title and link. I dont wanna click through i want all the news right in my LJ. It would be cool if you could dock external data sources on the side or something. It would be super sweet if I could get google news and LJ and all the news sites I like all on one page.
On to my next topic of interest. My new cell phone. Its a motorola V66. I like it except for a few things. First, I cant access test mode on the phone. Second, its a flip phone, so i wish it had an exterior display that would show me who is calling before I decide to flip open my phone.

Even better now. I got paid today so all is good in the world. I can now pay my credit card bill and get a new timing belt in my crapmobile.

Well. Its been a while since I posted anything worthwhile on here. Its about time. Spring break has come to a close and I’ve dragged myself through one day of classes. My break was generally uneventful, I went to work everyday and did lots of work. I got a new cell phone over break its a motorola v66. I’m actually a bit cranky about it, went I went to the dealer they only had motorola v66′s and the other sucky phone motorola makes. So i got the v66 since I figured that was my only option. When I went back to the store a few days later they had a few v60′s which are better phones and they cost the same. SO yeah, I’ll keep this phone. it works good anyway. Plus as an added bonus I have really good signal here in Newark. Also over break I went to Princeton University’s surplus store. It was a piece of geek heaven, Dave bought a SGI Indy and a monitor to match and I got myself an older PPC Mac(7100/80). I wanted to have some sort of system with a RISC processor so PPC was the best thing they had for cheap($18 complete with a monitor). The mac has been an interesting adventure in to a world of computer’s I’ve never had to deal with. I nuked the box in under 48 hours when I decided to put Debian on it. I did not really know the correct method of installing an alternative OS on a Mac so I just guessed. Needless to say my Mac has not booted right till today. I finally got MacOS back on it again. Its was a pain, the box has a cd drive but its a really old 2x drive that cannot read an CDr’s that I make. Either way my mac has come back to life.
My side of the dorm room has a total of 5 monitors. My primary monitor hooked to my kvm, my new laptop, my old laptop, the mac’s monitor, and a monster SGI monitor.
On a sad note I have a lot of work I must do this week and I gotta make sure all my grades are good. I really do not know where I stand in most of my classes because they are all crappy and no one seems to do good. I just have a massive batch of crap professors this semester. It blows my mind. I never thought I could encounter such a collection of individuals with no teaching capability in one semester. The only good teacher I have is extra hard but he is allowed to be because he knows what he is doing. Unlike the rest of them.
I’ve gone almost entirely though an album while writing this post. I think that would be a nifty LJ feature. Show the amount of time put in to each journal entry. I have my own journal system maybe I should code that in to my system.
I think I am running out of material for this post. I should shut up soon and go finish my laundry so I can go to sleep.

I just discovered zinf. It has all the complex playlisting(think windows media player or winamp3 style) capabilities I desire and its light on the cpu when playing mp3s. Plus I found a pretty nice skin for it that keeps me happy. Only one peeve is that logjam doesn’t grab song titles out of it.

Since all I read on LJ is GWB bashing I decided to say something because I have nothing better to do. I for one am for the war. I’m tired of hearing about what saddam is doing. Its like a little child.. saddam.. you… behave….. and then they just say no and go do what they want. The man needs a spanking with big ol’ bombs.
I do agree that our president.. he cant do public speaking. BUT! he has conviction, and drive. I don’t need a stand up comedian to run the country. Its someone who has vision and drive to lead in a positive direction.
Thats more than enough politics and world issues for me for the day.
On a brighter note. my school week is over.

I definitely hate mornings. I just forced myself awake through physics this morning. I usually just fall asleep after like 15 minutes. I’ve been coming to accept that no one cares about my livejournal with the exception of a few people. Even though I still post. We humans do strange things. Like journaling, to record ones stupidity. Honestly, I’ll admit it, most of my postings are completely pointless. I think more than anything its just a good way to remember stuff.
Ok thats more than enough pondering for one morning. Work must be done. Otherwise I’m never gunna get paid. I need that money.
Ok, now I’m on the needs tangent. I need the following items:
A nice set of Roland V-Drums
A new flat panel monitor.
A new video card would be nice.
A modchip for my Playstation 2 perhaps even installed by someone else.

And I’m spent.
I am going to return to my slave labour.

So yeah, I just finished watching all of Hack Sign and just my luck the second installment Animatrix came out today too. Both are pretty good. Hack Sign is kinda boring at times and the music does not change enough. It gets really tiring after a while. So I need to find my next series now. I think im going to watch Neon Genesis Evangelion next as soon as I get a copy ::cough::seth::cough::.

Today is cram day for my paper that is due tommarrow. I have the amazing ability to procrastinate so thus I will finish the paper tonight hopefully. This entry sucks so I’m going to stop now before it gets much work
