Drums
I just played my drums again. I moved my drums up to schoo like a month ago but i’ve only really played them like 4-5 times but i guess those times were worth the effort of bringin them up here. I would be very bored right now if it was not for my drums. I’m sure I just annoyed someone(but i don’t care either). Arg, I left the snare on so my sub is making it rattle and making all songs quite annoying to listen too.. I must go fix that. I’m gettin bored again already….but not for long maybe supposedly “my italian chicca” will be talking to me sometime but that could me 6 tonight.
Yay
I’ve been meaning to setup a PPP over ssh tunnel for weeks now and I finally got it done. I am quite happy since now i can still get to my computers at school over winter break. Yes I know ppp over ssh is yecky with all the overhead and such but it is my only option and it actually works shockingly. Although i do have wicked packet loss when I really hammer the tunnel. What ya gunna do about it. its free, easy, and requires no open ports on my end.
My Fryed Keyboard
Yes after a good day to dry I tryed out my natural keybaord again and discovered most of the keys work except a few important ones like E, backspace, tab, and some others. Lesson of the day, dont spill water in your keyboard because you will be stuck using some crappy keyboard till you get time to buy a new one. Doh. My parents said i could have thier dell quiettype they got with the new computer since they like thie natural keyboard they’ve been using since like 95.
Projects, Projects, Projects
As this semester is unwinding I have come to realize how screwed I am. hah. I have like 3 projects which are all due at the same time. Between school, work, and fun I do not think I am going to get a moment of sleep thanksgiving weekend. Although I think if I play my cards right I might be able to push the schedule on one of my projects again. I hate coding under a deadline. I need to be really inspired to code something in PHP because its really boring. I enjoy coding in C++ alot more usually(except when throw and catch are involved).
On a side note my cell phone has been a piece of crap all week. It used to work fine in my room but now its always dropping calls. I will avoid my rant on cell phones and the constantly changing standards but never improving networks but the companies are always taking new customers. It would be nice to have a project where i had a budget to farm out some of my work to others with out losing my income.
