Sockets, they are evil. I am working on this sockets app for a wargame and i’ve been sitting here for a while waiting for it all to dawn on me as I blindly write code. So far… no luck..

Midterm cramming sucks. I’m studing for my World Literature midterm tommarrow and I feel that I have been royally screwed by the system. I had a student teacher for a good part of the year. We “covered” 2/3 of the material on the midterm. Although she wasted extra time on everything and our class was like 2 weeks behind schedule, I have learned nothing. I think she spent too much time doing “fun”(retarded) projects and not enough just giving us learn work. I like my teacher now, he is lazy,its fun now.

This is my long distance posting. I’m using VNC from my friend daves house to my desktop. I have it full screened right now so its like im home but not. I just felt like posting for today. I’m working on learning sockets now so I can get past newbie8 on mainsource in the pulltheplug wargames.

Here is my daily rant. Todays topic is the movie M*A*S*H. It sucks, its absolutely retarded. As I watched the movie I was wondering the whole time when a plot line was going to start. Everytime some sort of plot started it ended 20 seconds later. I know they might call it a sketch movie but even then make the sketchs JUST A LITTLE FREAKING LONGER. I did not benifit from this movie. If i was to sum this movie up to a a few words it would be: martini, boobies, sex, blood. While from most peoples stand point might just make a good movie. Unfortunatly for the movie makers I’m just a little more difficult to satisfy. I’m not sure how the TV show is since I never really watched it. I’ll research that and return to the world with a rant or a letter of satisfaction. With a movie that horrible to base an entire series on I can’t see much that they can do. But… any way who knows. I’ll see

I’m hacking away on this touch screen pc I got from work. Its very irritating to work on because none of the ISA cards I have fit cuz the space is smaller for some wierd reason. My primary goal at the moment is to install a working network card in the computer. From there is all easy. I will be posting some pictures of this beast soon.

Yet another late night homework run for me. I think that this is the insane junior year i didnt have last year. I have had more work as a senior this year than all of last year. I don’t like it either I wanna chill but I can’t. Back to my slavework.
